Skylanders – Activision (2011–2017)
Activision launched Skylanders in 2011 with Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure, pioneering the hugely influential toys-to-life concept. Developed by Toys for Bob, the system allowed physical character figures to be placed on the electronic Portal of Power, instantly bringing them into the videogame while storing character progress and upgrades.
