Thunderbirds – Matchbox (1992–1993)
Matchbox launched its Thunderbirds toy range in 1992 following the renewed popularity of Gerry Anderson’s classic television series after its return to British television on BBC2. Matchbox acquired the licence and developed entirely new tooling rather than reusing earlier Dinky designs, creating a fresh range of vehicles, figures, and playsets for a new generation of fans.
