PlayStation VR – Sony (2016–Present)

Sony launched PlayStation VR worldwide on 13 October 2016 as a virtual reality system for PlayStation 4. Developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the headset used a 5.7-inch OLED display, PlayStation Camera tracking, and support for both DualShock 4 and PlayStation Move controllers. It brought console-based VR to a much broader audience and became one of the most successful early consumer virtual reality platforms.
