Star Wars Vintage Games (1977–1999)

Star Wars games began appearing alongside the original film in 1977, with Kenner releasing early board games including Escape from Death Star and Destroy Death Star. These were among the first interactive products created for the franchise and helped establish a tradition of Star Wars tabletop entertainment that continued throughout the original trilogy era and into the franchise revival of the 1990s.
