Robotech – Matchbox (1985)

Matchbox launched its Robotech toy line in 1985 alongside the American animated series created from Macross, Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber MOSPEADA. The range was one of the earliest major Robotechmerchandise programmes, translating the series’ mixture of transforming mecha, military science fiction, and character-driven storytelling into action figures, vehicles, and playsets.
