Transformers G1 – Hasbro (1984)

Hasbro’s original Transformers line, commonly referred to by collectors as Generation 1 (G1), launched in 1984 and introduced the concept of robots transforming into vehicles, weapons, and other objects to a global audience. Developed in partnership with Takara, the line adapted figures from Japanese toy ranges such as Diaclone and Micro Change, combining intricate mechanical transformations with character-driven storytelling.
