ERTL was an American toy manufacturer founded in 1945, best known for its highly detailed die-cast vehicles, model kits, and licensed collectibles. Originally specialising in agricultural machinery replicas, the company expanded into a wide range of licensed properties, becoming one of the most recognised names in die-cast and hobby collectibles throughout the latter half of the 20th century.
