Space: 1999 – Dinky Toys (1975–1980)

Dinky Toys introduced its Space: 1999 range in 1975 to accompany Gerry Anderson’s science-fiction television series. The collection focused on the distinctive Eagle spacecraft used by the inhabitants of Moonbase Alpha, translating the detailed television miniatures into substantial die-cast toys with working features. The models became some of the most recognisable pieces of merchandise associated with the series.
