Beastformers – Takara (1986–1988)

Beastformers, released in 1986 by Takara, is the original Japanese counterpart to Hasbro’s Battle Beasts, forming part of the wider Transformers universe in Japan. The line features small ~2-inch anthropomorphic animal warriors, each equipped with removable armour, a handheld weapon, and the signature heat-sensitive rub-sign displaying their elemental allegiance—Fire, Water, or Wood.
