Hot Wheels Classics – Mattel (2005–2009)

Mattel introduced Hot Wheels Classics in 2005 as an adult collector-focused series celebrating the heritage of the Hot Wheels brand. The line revived many popular castings from earlier decades and presented them in premium finishes, most notably Spectraflame-style colours, echoing the appearance of the original late-1960s Redline cars. The series ran through five annual assortments, concluding with Series 5 in 2009.
