Masters of the Universe: New Adventures of He-Man – Mattel (1989–1992)

Mattel launched The New Adventures of He-Man toy line in 1989 as a futuristic reinvention of Masters of the Universe. Moving away from Eternia’s traditional sword-and-sorcery setting, the story transported He-Man and Skeletor into deep space, where He-Man joined the Galactic Guardians on the planet Primus against Skeletor and the Evil Mutants. The accompanying animated series followed in 1990.
